A 40-foot boat is not automatically authorized to carry a 20-person paying group. Freaky Tiki operates as a U.S. Coast Guard-inspected small passenger vessel under a Certificate of Inspection for private groups of up to 22. The Coast Guard advises customers booking more than six passengers to ask the operator to show that certificate.

A two- or three-hour charter works for a focused cruise with music, views and photos. Online booking allows a 50% deposit on one card; guests who want to divide the cost reimburse the organizer separately. That same organizer should send the confirmed Cox’s Landing instructions and get everyone there 15 minutes early because a late start does not extend the scheduled end time.

Per-person examples assume all 22 guest spots are filled, divide the full-boat starting price evenly and exclude crew gratuity. Smaller groups pay the same private-charter total, so their per-person share will be higher. Captain, mate, standard-route fuel and two ice-filled coolers are included. Two large coolers filled with ice are already aboard. Bring drinks and ready-to-eat food plus the cups, plates, utensils, napkins, mixers and bottled water your group will use; the boat does not stock serviceware or prepare food.
Save your playlist, charge your phone before arrival and connect it to the boat’s sound system. USB outlets are usually available but are not guaranteed, so do not make the party depend on onboard charging.
Towels are not provided. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, photo ID, swimsuits and dry clothes for later plans. Swimming is optional, so guests who prefer to stay dry can remain aboard.
